About 7 weeks ago, my niece and I discovered this kitty (cat) outside of my sister Sandy's condo on Temple Drive in Winter Park. She was very close to the road. As we walked over to her, she came toward us and nuzzled my feet. I picked her up, she curled into my neck and started purring. After doing some investigative work in the neighborhood we discovered that she was, most likely, abandoned by a family who had moved out of an apartment about 3 or 4 days prior to our finding her. She had apparently been wandering around looking for food and love for several days. We put her photo and information up on the internet under "found" cats and also posted flyers, but no one has claimed her. I took her to my vet the day after we found her and she:
The vet also gave her all her vaccines, including rabies. She is a very calm and affectionate cat - constantly purring and crawling in my lap. I am looking for a good home for her. (I have a 17 year old cat and he is not thrilled about sharing his space.) She is tiger-striped with four white paws and a white neck and tummy (I have named her Tiger Lily). She will bring great joy to someone's household. Please contact me if you know of anyone who might be interested in adopting her. I would be happy to bring her over so they could meet her. Also, it would be fine to keep her for a "trial"...I would be happy to take her back if it doesn't work out. Please email if interested: Susan: susko@cfl.rr.com
