Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Updated picture of Onieda shows how beautiful she is becoming. You can read her story as follows. ********** Onieda was adopted in 2007, apparently dumped at the Pet Alliance, adopted, then surrendered to animal services. Because of her microchip, we learned that she was available for adoption and immediately went to get her from there so she would be safe. Her pictures are scruffy but we hope to get her cleaned up and make sure she's healthy. She was a purr machine kitten, super loving and she still is the same today. More about OneidaIs Not Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids, Does not require a yard Special Needs: Oneida is declawed on her front feet. Due to her declaw, she has arthritis in her front legs and feet. Just as people with arthritis have good days and bad days, so does Oneida. Some days she limps, and was observed not using one of her front paws for a couple of days when we had bad weather. She has been fully check by our vet, and may need to be on daily medication or monthly shots to help manage her arthritis. Oneida's companion, Yoshi/Onondaga (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Oneida's sister, Mohawk (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Oneida's brother, Mohegan (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
