Candy's Cats

Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

I am a very sweet “buff” swirl tabby boy about a year old.

I have beautiful “pumpkin” colored eyes!  I love all other animals including dogs which is why I got into trouble….. I just wanted to say “Hi”!

I was attacked by a pit bull mix dog and in pretty bad shape.  I was taken to an Emergency Clinic where they said they weren’t sure if I’d make it.  But the x-rays showed no broken bones or punctured organs (which is amazing considering what I went through!).  I did have a really badly damaged right eye – my foster mommy says I looked like I had gone 5 rounds with George Foreman!  They gave me antibiotics and cleaned me up (I was pretty dirty. I was covered in blood, dirt and dog slobber. Yuck!)

When they gave me a bath, they noticed that I was bruised over almost every inch of my body. L  It cost almost $1,400.00 to get me well again!

I had to wear a “cone” around my neck for a week so I wouldn’t accidently scratch my eye.  I was sore and stiff but in pretty good shape considering everything I went through.  I’m still a happy go lucky guy that still loves everybody but I really don’t know how I feel about dogs now.  Guess we’ll see!  Please give me a good home – I would be very happy as an only cat because I love me some humans!
