Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Hi I'm Simba! I'm a sweet gentle giant who came from a home with too many cats so whoever wants to adopt me needs to be patient and give me time to show my true self. I might hide for a few days until I feel safe, but once I am comfy I will come out and start to get to know you and want to play. I love to play with toys, so please make sure I have a great stash to choose from. I do get along great with my friend Dixie so if you want two great kitties who love each other please consider us together. I will get along with non-alpha cats if you have one or two of those around for me to play with. I also would be ok with over toddler aged, gentle, well behaved children.
 
 
 
Our kittens and cats are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. We make an effort to match the perfect person or family with each cat/kitten. If there are two names together, those are bonded cats and we will not separate them. All of our  kittens  MUST have a kitten, cat and/or dog companion,  unless otherwise noted.  In some cases, our adults may need to have a companion but read the description as it will be listed there. Please read down to the bottom of this kitty's page to find out more details about its personality.

We've gone digital! Please complete our adoption application in advance at www.candyscats.org/forms Screening Form. You will need to register on our site. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.  Every one of our kitties are fully-vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125. Thank you once more for your interest in our wonderful cats; we hope we can find one that is the perfect fit for you and your home.
