Candy's Cats

Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

Hello there!  My name is Autumn because I have all of the beautiful fall colors in my coat, little hints of copper, a full array of tans and browns, and even hints of gray!! My foster mom says that I am the most incredibly sweet, loving, loyal, affectionate mama cat she has ever had!! I even accepted a little kitten who was left behind by her own mommy, I unconditionally took her in, nursed and cared for her, and loved her just like my own babies! My foster mom says I am the cutest when I play, I love long toys that I can wrap my body around and play with them using all four of my legs :-) Although I enjoy playing, I am not very high energy and my favorite is to lounge and bask in the sun, especially while getting a belly rub (my favorite)!! I find dogs to be scary, and would flourish in a home without any. My foster mom thinks I would do well with another cat, especially if it is a kitten, because I am very relaxed and confident. I promise if you meet me, I will completely melt your heart with all of my sweetness!!!

Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125.

In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.

Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
