Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Baby
Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Meet Tobie! Tobie is a beautiful White and Tabby girl who was rescued with her 2 siblings, her brother Puck and sister Ophelia by a CCI volunteer. A neighbor reached out to her for help when the kittens came into their yard. The next day we were able to trap their mama and her other sister Ivy. Tobie is a darling girl who is very gentle and sweet. She loves to be pet and will purr immediately as soon as you start to stroke her. You will get lost in her amazingly soft fur. She will even roll over for you to pet her tummy. She is a bit shy right a first and will need a a family who is willing to work with her to gain her trust. She will let you hold her as well and will let you pet her tummy as well. Tobie loves her big brother Puck and her sister Ophelia, you will find them playing, cuddling and sleeping together throughout the day. We would love for any of them to be adopted as a pair. They may be able to go to a home with a small gentle cat friendly dog as well.
Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125. In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you. Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats. Thank you once more for your interest in our wonderful cats; we hope we can find one that is the perfect fit for you and your home.
