Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Divine Diva (formerly Fluffy Pants) came from a breeder in Mt. Dora. She lived in a cage as a breeder kitty (6 litters in 3 years). She's sweet, will come alongside of you but is not what you would call a lap kitty. She would do better as an only cat but has tolerated others of her species. She likes being pampered. She's truly a Diva, and while one of the smaller cats in my home, she's holding her own - but shouldn't have to. Divine Diva is declawed on all four paws. She was adopted but returned because of the care involved with a purebred Persian. If you do not have experience with a Persian, please read up on them. Her eyes need to be cleaned at least once a day and she needs to be brushed at least once per day. She needs supplementation to restore her coat to its original beauty.
