Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Kismet is 5 years old born March 13, 2011. He may be mixed with Main Coon as he has long hair and is big weighing 20 pounds. Kismet is playful. His favorite thing to play with are hair scrunchies. Luckily he doesn't chew them or swallows them, he just bats them in the air. He gets along well with other cats although needs some time to adjust to being around them. He will hiss but would not attack. He enjoys being petted and brushed. When you cuddle with him on your lap, stomach or chest, he hides his face while loving he attention. His color eyes are unique in color although they just look regular orange in pictures. He is very sweet and well behaved. He is more of a follower than a leader, sometimes copying other pets' behavior. Kismet will rub on you for attention or meow. He loves laying next to his water bowl or put his paw it in to make it move. In the process of making the water move he drags the bowl and makes a mess of water so the bowl can't be lose. Kismet is allergic to turkey so the food label needs to be read carefully as to not have trace of turkey. Some food although say chicken, rabbit, salmon on the front of the package, the back would say it has turkey meal. His allergic reaction (sores on his mouth and paw) shows after he is fed turkey for a few weeks
Kismet loves his "brother" Rowdy, and it would be nice if they were adopted together, although not a must.
