Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

When Bamboo came to our organization, he was a feral kitten and concern was whether we would be able to 'flip' him (socialize him) or, if he would have to be returned to his colony (in the middle of freezing winter??) Well, we found the perfect foster mommy who has worked with him, helping him to be not afraid. In Bamboo's foster mommy's words:
"He'll come up and sit with me, give lots of loud purrs, play around me and is getting better about being picked up. He just seems to be a cat that prefers to not be picked up, but still will come up to you to ask for attention. He's very good at home with socializing, he's a completely normal cat in my opinion, it's just that he doesn't really like the hustle and bustle of the Petco. I still think the only two things that should be said when he's adopted out are he might not do well with children (I just don't think he'd be cuddly enough for them and take the constant picking up and squeezing little kids seem to do, it's not that he is aggressive) and he needs to be around another cat. Other than that he doesn't really need special treatment, I don't think :) Thank you for the wonderful words about an exceptionally beautiful kitten!
