Candy's Cats

Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

I am a plus size boy with a personality to match. I love to be brushed and am very content to lay near you. I have the most adorable grumbly purr that you'd expect nothing less from a cat of my size and stature. I'm not big (no pun intended) on vigorous playing but I do like fluffy wand toys and kitty kickers.  I like to nap in places where it's cooler, but when I'm awake, I enjoy bird watching on a cat tree or sunbathing on a screened in patio.  I don't like dogs of any kind and I don't like young children. I should be fine with older, gentler children if given the time and space to warm up to them. I've been around another cat but I would be better off being an only pet since I don't like to share my food or litter boxes  with anyone else  (oh, by the way, I do need two litter boxes.) The right family for me is one who will help me stick to my diet so that I can get to a healthier weight, let me have two litter boxes, and to just give me a chance. I have lots of purrs and love to offer.
