Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Our kittens and cats are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. Completing a screening form does not guarantee an adoption. We make an effort to match the perfect person or family with each cat/kitten. If there are two names together, those are bonded cats and we will not separate them. All of our  kittens  MUST have a kitten, cat and/or dog companion,  unless otherwise noted.  In some cases, our adults may need to have a companion but read the description as it will be listed there. My name is Maggie. I was almost put down by OCAS because I had "behavioral issues" but really I was just super scared. After a couple of days with my foster mom, I warmed right up! I love pets and giving people kisses. I'm okay with other cats after I have some time to get used to them. I'm super sweet and love to purr away on my foster mom's pillow as she pets me. 
 
 
 
We've gone digital! Please complete our adoption application in advance on our website,  www.candyscats.org/forms  Screening Form. If you have a cat or dog, it needs to be spayed/neutered and if you have a cat, it must have a combo test on file in order to adopt. We'll review your information and if you are approved, meet and greets are arranged by appointment. Every one of our kitties are fully-vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $100 - $150. Thank you once more for your interest in our wonderful cats; we hope we can find one that is the perfect fit for you and your home.
