Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Baby
Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Hi! My name is Big Boy and I am a male tan and white domestic short hair kitten. I was the fifth born in a litter of five but I am the biggest one of us now. I was born on June 15, 2018 in Rosemont (Orlando), FL. My mommy was a stray that is living inside of my human mommy's house. I can be very affectionate if you pick me up and pet me. I like to be held like a baby and have you rub my tummy. I like to run and jump on things and play with boxes. I like to sleep with my brother and sisters so I would like to be adopted with another kitty. It would be great if I could go with my sisters Teddy Bear and Butterscotch but I think I could go with a kitty I don't know. I am used to being around other cats as there are eight where I live now. There is a real big cat who doesn't like me but I'm okay with that. I leave her alone. I am used to being around my human mommy but I also like it when she brings her other human friends over for a vist. I don't know if I would get along with a dog as I've never been around one before. My human mommy is around a lot but she has left us with each other for about six hours a couple of times a week. I like to run and play in the morning and about 9:30 at night. I like to play with boxes of any size.
Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125. In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go to www.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you. Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats. Thank you once more for your interest in our wonderful cats; we hope we can find one that is the perfect fit for you and your home.
