Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Meet Dorito he is four years old. He is a large handsome orange tabby with a curled tail. He and his companion Leonidas have been together since Dorito was almost a year old. They are both neutered and front paw declawed. They belonged to a family where the father was in the Marines and were then stationed in Hawaii and could not take them. A family member stepped in and kept the kitties for them for a white. Unfortunately that family member then was unable to keep them as she was now with a roommate who was allergic and they have been stuck in a bedroom which is not fair to them. They are both great with people, children and dogs (they have not been around other cats). Dorito likes a lot of attention. He likes to be held and is always next to you. He also doesn’t realize how big he is (18lbs ). He loves to play with toys. He also loves to give kisses. So if you like that sandpaper tongue he’s for you! He has had a couple UTIs. Which he has been treated for so he needs to be on urinary tract food. Leonidas doesn’t need that much of attention. He does like to rub up on you but he doesn’t too much like to be held all the time. He also likes to play with toys but not as much as Dorito. Every day when his caretaker got home he liked for her to put her finger on his nose and he sniffs it and then put her face up to his face and he sniffs it. They come with a treehouse and condo and also outdoor cat cage. They also come with litter, litter box, food hard and wet, and a bunch of toys. They are very bonded and we would love to make the new transition as smooth as possible so staying with each other for comfort would be the best case scenario.
