Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.

Hi, my name is Moxie (Kitten on the right) and I am full of Moxie! I am a super sweet little long-haired Maine coon mix with personality galore! It's rare to find a black and white Tuxedo Maine coon! My sister Eve and I were found in the middle of the road and a wonderful couple stopped to rescue us. They looked around for our mommy but could not find her. We were kind of sick with a cold and needed TLC. They got us to Candys Cats who took us in and got us well and we will soon be ready for adoption! My sister Eve and I have to go together! We are a bonded pair and have been together our whole lives.    You won't be disappointed because she's just a sweet and adorable as me and Maine coon mix too!

Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable kitties. All of our kitties are fully vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $120.

In order to match the best home for our foster kitties, we ask folks to complete our adoption application in advance; simply go towww.candyscats.org/forms. You will need to register on our site, and then fill out an Adoption Application. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.

Cats are not adopted first-come, first-served, but rather the best home for the kitty, but we do give consideration to the folks who take the time to fill out the application in advance. Almost all of our volunteers work during the week; to be able to meet one of our cats by appointment during non-adoption days (Saturday, 11 - 4, Sunday 12 - 4), your application needs to be filled out in advance and approved by our adoption coordinator prior to scheduling an appointment to meet with the cats.
